A Restorative Justice Mentoring Program
Michelle Baker, EdD, earned her doctorate in education from Southern Connecticut State University and her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of New Haven. Dr. Baker has worked in New Haven for over twenty year’s servicing the juvenile justice population. She has extensive experience in directing programs geared towards reducing recidivism. Dr. Baker has also conducted research on how to assist public schools reintegrate adolescent African American males post incarceration. Dr. Baker has provided educational mentoring to school-age children and in additions to her current duties, she also worked as an educational advisor for Naugatuck Valley Community College, preparing high school students for post-secondary education.
